Case: Nice thick case probably never polished with perfect angles and very visible chamfers. Bezel in good condition fat font mk3 with beautiful bluish patina. No significant visible shocks. The watch is in perfect condition, barely worn. Caseback engraved 69.

Dial: Beautiful original red MK2 meter first TROPICAL submariner dial with an even vanilla-yellow patina. Very nice overall. Dial still in good condition with no flaws and now ultra-rare brown. MK2 meter first series first production submariner in red with meters in front of feet. Hands slightly lighter in color but original with unreleased tritium.

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us by email or phone, then return the watch in the exact same condition as received and we will refund you within 10 days after we fully inspectied the watch received back in our offices at your expense. Delivery

Delivery : Buyers are responsible for all additional customs fees, duties, or taxes. All shipments are sent fully insured via Malca Amit who primarily uses Fedex. A tracking number will be given to you after collection of the package. In case of loss or theft of packages, a refund will only be made after approval of the insurance claim by our insurance provider Malca Amit.

Guarantee

Guarantee : All watches are guaranteed for 6 months for normal use. For vintage watches that are not waterproof, there is no guarantee of water resistance. In the caseof a water resistance problem linked to the non-screwing of the crown, the warranty is also void. In the case of shocks to the watch, the warranty is void. Normal use only qualifies for the 6-month warranty.

Our opinion: A sublime example of the vintage Submariner date reference 1680, the Rolex Submariner with date and red writing on the meter first TROPICAL dial. A must-have in a Rolex collection, produced until 1975, this watch is part of the first meter first mark 2 series, serial number 22XXXXX which had the particularity of turning brown, tropical perfect. The watch is in perfect condition, its original mk2 dial has a superb vanilla-yellow patina with the red clearly visible on white, thus thicker to the eye, and its matte black has become tropical perfect! A rare watch in this condition, as almost all of them were diving at the time. A beautiful collector's item in almost new condition, with its original folded oyster bracelet and brown dial. A must-have for any fine collection, as so few full sets have survived to the present day.
