Case: Beautiful case still thick and with angles still very present and chamfers perfectly visible perhaps never polished. Glasses in perfect condition. Very rare original long five insert. No visible shocks. The watch has been perfectly preserved by time and remains beautiful and consistent.

Dial: Beautiful original dial ULTRA RARE meter first zinc sulfite dial and above all THE ONE AND ONLY real gilt like at Rolex lacquered and not satin like all the other Tudor gilts before, with a very beautiful homogeneous patina. This is the very first and last version of the gilt lacquered dial used by TUDOR with the gold minute track and white T SWISS T writing. Very nice overall set. Dial in perfect condition with no defects. The hands perfectly match the patina of the indexes.

Our opinion: A very beautiful and rare example of the vintage Submariner reference 7928, meter first GILT with zinc sulphite, very first and last execution of this gilt dial which has become legendary, very beautiful dial with a beautiful homogeneous patina and very reactive to UV, riveted steel bracelet and movement in perfect working order. The watch is in perfect condition, little polished but generally very well maintained… Very nice rare long five bluish insert!
